sOLUTION
Our solution is a Policy change in which we have labelled as a “Green Rating”, essentially our rating consists of a rubric in which we have designed that rates a business in how “Green” it essentially is. We’ve created a list and have added numerical values to each point which will essentially make up the business’s overall “Green Rating”. Our vision with this policy is to encourage companies to run their business in an eco-friendly fashion for the better of our community and overall the investments we make now will pay off for our future. In doing so, companies are encouraged to improve their rating as it is attractive to consumers that can feel good in knowing the company they’ve invested in has goals for our future. In our research, we’ve discovered that when the people are aware and have the opportunity easily at hand, they will make the decision that is best for our planet. We’ve reached out to Marc Pejo who is in affiliation with Adidas, National Geographic, Quiksilver, Timberland, Sandsock and Nike. Marc believes in our idea as much as we do and has plans to incorporate our idea.
